Cold War Kids!

Went with Julia and Tex to see Cold War Kids tonight at the Ogden Theater, and I have to say…they were great live! Their opening band was called A Lull. seriously…go download them. I loved them, almost as much as I liked the headliner…OK maybe even more…they reminded me a little bit of Linkin Park…at least the melody and the drums.
I also discovered something about myself…no matter the band,no matter the music…I am always going to be the girl in the crowd who is dancing around like a crazy person :)
PS…if you live in Denver you MUST visit Steubens…its comfort food for adults. The ambiance is retro 60s and I think they remodeled an old garage to create this fabulous place.Remember this: The Fried Chicken dinner is to die for…although I secretly wanted the mac and cheese! They have the best Grilled Cheese Sandwich ever…just like mom used to make. I started salivating at about 3 in the afternoon when we decided to meet at Steubens, LOVES!
