the magic list for our new house
Written on January 6, 2009
Rugby Dude and I have started house hunting! It is a very exciting step in our lives, and for me at least, an exciting step in our relationship. RD found a great real-estate agent named Tracy and so far she has been great. We are property virgins, the both of us, so we have looked at a bunch of houses so far but we still have so many more to look at. We do have a favorite picked out, and it meets a lot of criteria from my list: My Magic List for the Perfect First House. It’s right down the street so we would be in the same area we have grown to love and it has great potential to be our perfect first home.

and the list goes on…
I’m sure I will be adding to this as we look at more and more houses in the future. We have looked at some doozies too…what are people thinking when they leave their houses a complete mess for you to tour? We went into one that could have been cast as the backup for the Psycho house, complete with a secret room with a crawl through door way, and a quaint 5 foot by 1 foot pink kitchen. T’was lovely with its wood paneling and green and pink floral carpets. I may have nightmares about it soon. Hopefully we will find a few more gems soon.
Wish us luck…house hunting continues!
