Been realllly busy these last couple months! Here’s what I have been up to:

Labor Day weekend 2008:

Rugby Dude and I drove up to Steamboat to visit with John and Lisa and finally got to meet little Quinn!  She has red hair too and I secretly pretended she was mine all weekend :) We had lots of fun with friends, and just enjoyed the last part of summer in the mountains.

Nine Inch Nails concert- Red Rocks Amphitheater 09/02/08

Rugby Dude and I are big fans of Nine Inch Nails.  We joined our friend Tex at the fabulous Red Rocks Amphitheater for the show.  They really put on a great show and wowed me with their talent.  Trent Reznor was amazing, I didn’t want the show to end.

Mom and Dad in Steamboat Springs- 09/06/08

Mom and dad decided to take a little vacation and drove up to Steamboat for a few days.  John and Lisa were gracious enough to loan them the condo so RD, Cody and I drove up for the weekend.  Took the goldola to the top of the mountain and with Cody as our trailblazer, hiked down to the bottom. We had great weather and a great time visiting with them.

Weekend with the folks- Steamboat Springs 09/13/08

Cody and I drove up by ourselves to spend some more time with mom and dad while they were in Colorado.  We did a little hiking, a little touring around town, and a little family time together.  Sure was great to see them!

With John and Lisa in Pittsburgh, PA- 09/18/08

Took a few days off and flew to Pittsburgh, PA to spend some time with John and Lisa.  We went to the Carnegie Museum to see the TRex exhibit, and then the art museum.  DId a lot of walking around town and then a great dinner overlooking the city.  Had a crazy and amazing day at the Pitt/ Iowa game at Heinz Field.  I had never been to such a huge tailgate party for a college game! We had a fabulous time and cant wait to see them again.

Colorado Avalanche Pre Season Game-
Pepsi Center 10/03/08

Our friend Gage from FL came into town for the weekend and we all went to the last pre-season hockey game.  Colorado Avalanche against the Chicago Blackhawks, was a good game but ended in a loss for the Avs 7-4.  We took Gage to dinner at Samba Room and had a few drinks downtown.  It was a nice weekend to start the Fall.
