What a relief!!!!! I'm so glad that RD was able to get Cody back!!!!

I always had a problem chasing my dog until I remembered that he knew the command "stay." As long as I was "chasing," it was a game...once he knew he was supposed to stop and stay put, I could walk up to him to get him. Could Cody learn a command like that?

Wow! I would have had a heart attack! I do the same thing with Gizmo, even if we are on our little portion of a backyard. He is normally really good, but you never know when they will get a wild hair up their ass and just take off!! Thank Goodness RD found him and brought him back to you!

*sigh*

I've known plenty of flight risk dogs. Thankfully ours isn't. It took three weeks after we got him to close off the last side of our back yard fence, and he'd just sit back there playing. I still always keep him on-leash to give some peace of mind to the non dog-lovers out there.
