Meet Avery Charles

Written on January 5, 2007

Welcome to the world Avery!

She finally went to the hospital last night and ended up getting an epidural and something to make her contractions come more normally. I didn’t sleep all night because I was so worried. I got a call from dad this morning at about 845 (their time) and she had just given birth. Poor thing was in labor for 48 hours!! Hes got blonde hair, and weighed 7.5 pounds. Since he was in the amniotic fluid so long in the birth canal- he may have taken in some waste (baby poo) and so he is in ICU until tomorrow to make sure his lungs are okay. Everyone seems to think he is just perfect! I cant wait to meet him.

Aw congratulations! he’s very cute- and wait until everything bounces into place he’ll blow your mind away. Baby J got her nose squished when she was coming out so she looked very weird for a day. Then she looked normal…thank goodness- I was rethinking the whole thing!
